| So I haven't been on here in a long time. Since my last post, which was way back in January. Some things have changed, most things haven't. I am still in Mt. pleasant, and I really enjoy it. I was worried about losing the small town feeling when I moved, however, a year later, I cannot go to Walmart or Meijer without seeing someone I know...and they say hello and wave...Its kind of like being home again, but a little larger. I never thought it would be this friendly!!! I have been at the "great" soaring eagle for over a year now. I really love my job. I am a security guard, and I get to people watch fairly often. Makes my day pretty interesting, plus it helps that I have made a TON of amazing new friends that are a blast to hang out with. I make okay money also. 3 days a week pays the bills and rent, so I cannot complain. I am staying at MMCC for one more semester, I am taking a few courses there that I need, so I am saving money for a little longer, and after that...its on to CMU!!! I really miss the university life, and cannot wait to get back on a decent campus. I love those big classes ... and wish mid were a little more anonymous. Plus I am pretty excited to have my gen eds out of the way and finally focusing on my major...Which is back to education. I knew I couldn't be away from it for too long. Everytime I switch away from it, something happens to make me realize that working with kids in a classroom/mentoring position is just me. I am sooo excited to get started in my classes. Adam and I are doing just wonderful. It's been about two years and 5 months, and I am still loving every minute of our relationship. We are moving soon to a bigger apartment, and everything is going fine with us. I forgot to tell you guys!!!!! I got ear surgery in December, AND I CAN HEAR NOW!!!!! A titanium piston was implanted in place of my stapes bone in my middle ear and corrected my hearing. I never realized what I was missing out on until I could hear. Like the birds and frogs and car doors and whispers. Its so amazing that I was missing out on so much. I am so blessed to have had the operation go so well...Now on to my left ear!! HEHE.... Scarlet just got married last weekend...Pretty crazy!! Makes us all kind of evaluate our own lives, ya know what I mean??? I feel that i am too young to be married, but Scarlet is not that much older than I am. It's just we are at such different points in our lives, its crazy to think I am so close in age to being "the married age" Ya know??? I wish her and Jared the best life imaginable. If anyone deserves happiness, its scarlet. ANd she should probably disclose her secret about how to be happy and secure enough to be confident a relationship will last forever. I am still cynical from my last relationship. But anyway, congrats to them , and I hope God blesses their marriage with laughter and love. My parents hosted an exchange student last year. She is a pretty awesome girl .We miss her alot. Her name is Camilla and she is from Denmark. She is going to be in my wedding ....someday when I decide the time is right. But we really miss her a lot, and my life has changed because of her, she is one special girl. Speaking of special girls...my sister is a SENIOR this year!!! Doesn't that make ya feel old? She got her pictures done, and let me tell you what..she is one beautiful lady. I cannot believe how time has flown... Well night everyone. ... see ya in a few months??? |
